Earlier this month a shipment of Sidephones and Classic Keypads were shipped via Air to Sidephone's Richmond, Texas warehouse.
The shipment is currently clearing US customs. We estimate that clearance will be complete by Monday July 20th or sooner.
Once the devices complete their last mile delivery and arrive at the warehouse, we intend to begin shipping all open orders immediately in chronological order (from the time they were originally placed).
If you have previously ordered a Sidephone on either Sidephone's International storefront, or Sidephone's recently created USA storefront, we intend for your parcel to ship next week if it does not contain a Mini Controller Keypad or separate Screen Protector (2 Pack).
For orders containing either a Mini Controller Keypad or separate Screen Protector (2 Pack), these items are completing production, after which they will be rush shipped to Texas to fulfill all orders containing them.
Note: Screen Protector (2 Pack) is not to be confused with the default Screen Protector that was already applied to every Sidephone during manufacturing. 2 Packs are sold separately for those who would like to replace their factory-installed Screen Protector, or add one to their US Founders Edition.
We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding over the past several weeks as we worked to ship Sidephone as quickly as possible around the world. We've learned a lot during the process on how we can improve, particularly in regards to messaging of manufacturing progress and updates.
To improve deliverability and visibility of Sidephone updates, we will begin hosting Sidephone announcements on Sidephone's official storefronts. This reduces the need to use Reddit to learn of project updates, and helps Sidephone provide updates to customers who have elected not to be contacted through email.
Moving forward, all US updates will be able to be found on the US storefront and Global updates will be able to be found on the Global storefront.
